Bayboro: Where Horses Thrive and Riders Reach Their Highest Potential

Tucked into 100 acres of rolling Sussex County countryside, just an hour from New York City, Bayboro Equestrian is a serious training facility built by people who never stopped chasing the feeling of a good ride.

We didn't set out to build a boarding barn. We set out to build the place we always wished we'd had — one where the horses are cared for like family,  the footing is right, and the team around you is deep enough to handle whatever comes up, from a soundness question to a spooky green horse to a client aiming for their first recognized event.

That's why Bayboro isn't just a facility — it's a full team. Owner on site 6 daily, alongside our on-site trainers, we work closely with a trusted network of veterinarians, farriers, equine nutritionists, and bodywork professionals who know our horses and our ground. When something needs a second opinion, you get one fast. When a horse needs a shoeing adjustment before a big cross-country day, it happens without you having to chase it down.  Our annual clinic series brings Olympic and FEI-level talent — including Boyd Martin, Silva Martin, Phillip Dutton, Peter Wylde, and Dom Schramm — directly onto our 20-acre cross-country course, so the same riders producing at the top of the sport are the ones critiquing your position in the irons.

Our indoor and outdoor arenas, dedicated dressage ring, and undulating cross-country terrain give riders a place to actually train, not just circle a ring. Forty-plus acres of turnout and premium hay and feed programs mean every horse on the property — yours included — gets the kind of daily care that shows up in their coat, their soundness, and their attitude under saddle.

At Bayboro, world-class riding meets world-class care. This is where horses thrive, and where riders with real goals go to reach them.
